CAREER QUALIFICATIONS

– Successfully manage, plan, and complete projects with outside contractors.

– Execute personnel management skills through interviewing, training, and terminating.

– Well-versed in all aspects of golf course management, including construction,
  pesticide application, irrigation, drainage and mechanical repair.

- Provide a championship course; direct experience with major golf events, such as the
  PGA Championship.

PHILOSOPHY

I have gained tremendous insight into managing and maintaining a high-end private golf course. I have been involved in all aspects of operating an elite course to its fullest potential. LEADERSHIP 
It is important to lead by example. I believe being an effective leader involves, but is not limited to, a strong work ethic, your attitude, providing vision and values to your team, and being someone who motivates people to be their best.

HARD WORK

I am grateful for the way I was raised. I was taught at a very young age the importance of being a reliable, responsible, and a diligent hard worker.

COMMUNICATION

Communication is a very important aspect of being a superintendent. Today there are many different ways to keep one’s golfing clients informed whether it is a blog, newsletter, twitter, or by word of mouth.

ATTITUDE

We all have a choice in how we approach our daily lives. Are we going to keep a positive attitude even when things do not go our way? Look at the positives in life, it is much more enjoyable!

INTEGRITY
I believe one of the reasons I am where I am today is because of my integrity. It is defined in ethics--being honest and consistent in our actions. This is another way to provide an enjoyable work environment.

MEMBER SERVICE
As a superintendent I am in the business of member service. My goal is to please the members and give them a golf course they desire and deserve.
